You might just see a Red Eyed Tetra if you're lucky.

Hi,

I got my wall from Seapets.
I'm not really sure why you think the ornament in the picture is broken though.

Regards,

Colin

I was referring to Ibby's picture of the bamboo wall on the couch which I can see a crack line. That was not my original concern to ask for feedback but it did remind me I've read one other person received it broken as well. Now I'm wondering if it's due to inadequate packing protection either inside the original box or the shipping package. How was the original packing like? I will do well to consider if it's worth the risk to ship it.

I would be just as pissed if the item turn up to be like one of the ugly version I've posted in the Ibbly's thread but shipping from UK (seapets?) would be out of question for me due to higher shipping cost.

I don't think that's a crack in the ornament, it's the string from the algae cleaner (see pic to the left).
The ornament I recieved was genuine, in a retail Hagen box. It was very well protected.
As long as the seller has got genuine items, then there should be no problems.

Regards,

Colin

Well folks,

A little update on the Edge. I added 4 Guppys which did really well, then added 5 Black Neon Tetras. Unfortunately, after about a week they started dying. This was probably due to me being too eager to stock, and not doing enough water changes. I now only have 1 Guppy and 1 Tetra, the rest having died overnight. These 2 remaining fish will be the sole occupants until cycling is complete.

Shame.

Another update,

The shock must have been too much as the remaining 2 fish have now died.

Hi Max,

After the Xray teras died, I cycled the tank for about 3 weeks with 1 red eyed tetra that I had elsewhere. The tank balanced out well, and I was able to introduce some guppies. These have been thriving, and in fact have bred really quickly, so fast in fact that I have another small Arcadia tank in my back room.
The amonia levels are still very low even with over a dozen guppies of various sizes.

Regards,

Colin
