Time for a Change! Empty Time for a Change!

Hello fellow Edgers! My husband and I have owned our Edge for over a year now and have since upgraded to the Fluval Vicenza. In both tanks there are freshwater fish. Our Edge at one time had 3 tetras in it but we had to move them to the larger tank so that we could use the Edge as an emergency hospital tank for a stressed out Gourami. Now that our Gourami is getting better and I have a line on a free aquarium from a friend to use in the future as a quarantine tank, I would really love to set up the Edge as a salt water tank with coral. I have the original Edge which is only 6 gallons I believe and we have already purchased the new LED lights and the Fluval heater which can only be set to 26 degrees. What else will I need to provide an optimum space for our future saltwater friends?

Have you started the saltwater set up yet?

I would start with Live Sand and some live rock to assist you with filtration.

Keep us posted.
