Catching FRY

Hi, about 2 weeks ago I thought I had seen a small fry swiming in my 3 week old edge. I hadnt seen it since and thought it may have been eaten. then last night I fount 4 larger fry swimming about! I believe they may be platies. They are very good at hiding from my other fish (3 platies, 4 neons and 2 shrimp) they play dead on top of the gravel or hide in my fake plants. Im now thinking I should get another tank (19 litre cube from pets at home) and try and raise the little guys! Anyone no of an easy way of catching them?! or are they probably ahem...going to be fish food?
