Has anyone fitted an airstone? Im not convinced the fish get enough oxygen and they pnly have the little square at the top. I dropped my water so its 10mm from the top and they seem happier.

I put one on the original edge. Use a bubble wall and ensure it is cut smaller than the maintenance hole. Place underneath and use a regulator valve on the airline from the pump to control the rate.
