Fluval Edge heater placement: Empty Fluval Edge heater placement:

Post  azza21 Sun Jan 08, 2012 4:56 pm

Hi guys i've just bought a Fluval Edge 25W heater because Fluval do not supply these with the 23l tank, so i purchased it serperately, but i'm not 100% where i should best place it. It arrived but there is no instructions that come with it nore can i find anything online. I cannot submerge the heater can i...I mean there is a lead attached to the top end of the heater, so i'm assuming you place/stick it next to the filter with the red light and lead just about water level?

Hi,

the heater is designed to be submerged, light, lead and all. Pop it on either side of your filter inlet, on the back wall.
