New 46L edge

Hi all

Well I have just pulled the trigger on a 46L Edge and have planted it up and have just started on a fishless cycle so far everthing is on track
I will post pics when I can

well I now have a cloudy smelly tank seems the bacteria are working overtime
just a case of sit back and wait I think

Hi Ian,

I have a 23L Edge; it's been running fine since last summer.

If the cloudiness in your 46L Egde is white it is probably a baterial bloom, which is good.

It can take 3-6 weeks to properly Cycle a tank before adding fish. I'm Cycling a new tank just now, adding ammonia as necessary and monitoring (using an API Freshwater Master Test Kit) the Ammonia, Nitrite and Nitrate levels waiting for the first two to reach zero. It's a bit like watching paint dry but it's worth it in the long run for the sake of the fish.
